A John –
I’ve tried numerous blenders, this is the best one so far. This has the usual sized attachment – but the way it connects to the base is better. No more fiddling trying to get it to connect, simply place and twist. The lid has a release mechanism, again it fits better. Then there is a pouring bit which can be opened in one corner. The blade comes out to enable easy cleaning. There is also a smaller attachment, for smaller amounts. The blade comes out, and you can attach a different top – to take the drink with you. In terms of blending, there is blend, or max blend. And you can also pulse or manually select the blending speed. The blade itself isn’t just at the base, but through the blender, so you don’t get that irritating bit where you have to stop and stir a mixture where things get a bit stuck. This is now my blender of choice.
Duncurin –
Duncurin has been trying out this food processor courtesy of Ninja and Vine. For those of you in a rush, I’d have to sum up my experiences of this machine in just the one word – fabulous.Of course, I am no chef nor baker. It’s rare that my wife lets me anywhere near the kitchen but I was very keen to put this machine through its paces. My daughter was on hand to keep an eye on me and my wife did her best to not interfere. It’s a handsome machine with its nice heavy base, made more secure by the gel suckers and the chrome and black and clear plastics will grace any kitchen. The plastic and the materials used are first rate, are easy to use and to assemble and disassemble and most crucially when you are done you can slot all (not the motor assembly !) into the dishwasher. Not just this, but the whole thing works beautifully there are no cheap fittings that barely fit, nor work together and are about to snap off any second. In use – the whole thing comes together with a smooth and refined precision. The seals, seal; the buttons are easy to access, it’s easy and logical in use and above all provides security and safety to the user especially important when sharp blades are whizzing away with a powerful motor behind them. The motor is rated at 1200w but there is more than enough power for all the tasks that the machine is likely to be set. I thought that a Carrot cake would be a good starting point as this requires a few different modes and processes from the machine so that I could judge it across these and, of course, you get cake at the end of it! What’s not to like.My daughter has a top of the range Magimix food processor and she was most impressed by this Ninja, thinking that it is as good as her machine, if not better. For a novice like myself I liked the way it is easy to get to grips with and the tastes and abilities of the more seasoned (sorry perhaps experienced would be a better word here!) user are also catered for. I also like the way the processor senses the vessel you have fitted and thus only offers a suitable program. More than this, for instance when chopping the walnuts, you simply press the button once and the logic takes over and continues until it’s done. The machine is also clever and versatile. For instance one disc subserves two functions depending on which side up you insert it – one for grating and one for slicing. I also liked the drinks vessel that you can simply clip a sip cup top on as you race to work. Moreover, there are so many nice touches which implies the designers really knew what they were doing as they developed the machine and this shows even to someone of my meagre abilities. Even the simple things like the push through tool has been beautifully designed and offers a dual mode of action.Perhaps most vitally, my favourite words apply here – just gets on with it. One follows the instructions and the machine will do your bidding in a straightforward and fuss-free way while keeping an eye on you to make sure you don’t do something silly. Ultimately it will work in the background while you deliver a vast variety of foods, drinks sauces soups – whatever – quickly and seamlessly. At the end of cooking you can simply drop all the bits in the dishwasher and be straight though I must confess I couldn’t bring myself to do this and preferred to wash everything by hand. My only bad word about this fab machine is that I would have liked a longer power cord. So, fabulous it is and I am thinking it would make for a wonderful special present for a loved one, for a wedding or really any other good excuse. Many thanks for asking us to review – 5 stars.Photos show carrot cake in evolution which was quick easy and also tasted fabulous! Enjoy.

I love this! Makes cooking just that much fun. I am able to blend all my ingredients once with the 2L jug! Why haven’t I bought this before now!

This has taken pride and place in my kitchen for ease of use. I took my time choosing this 3-in-1 food processor and I’m glad I did because it’s a game changer now! I feel like I can finally create my own recipes that I’ve only ever bought from the shop, it’s so clever having the 3 attachments. I’ve made Pina Coladas, houmous, iced coffee, sliced & diced all my salad vegetables. There’s so much more to do with this food processor and I’ve only just scratched the tip of the iceberg!

Absolutely amazing, the only blender food processor you need

I have had similar blenders before, with the bullet like Ninja being my first discovery of how powerful it is! I eventually got rid of all the other jug blenders, all the other ones seem pointless in their power struggle with the beast! It literally could grind stones and the only problem was that given it was not means for anything other than smoothies actually, while it was rather easy to grind everything else, unless it had liquid in, it would not blend as such without you stopping, opening the bullet and mixing it by hand! I remember thinking I wished I had looked into other models of Ninja with a jug container, not just the bullet, etc. Then came…no, noy Polly! 3-in-1 model into my hands and made my life forever easy! No more stopping, opening and mixing by hand, not only does it grind everything to nothing, but it mixes it too. There are different modes, so you can pulse, puree, mix, grind, blend, crush and chop to your heart’s content!Someone stated that this was not 3-in-1, well..I did not keep the box ( or the instructions, do not be like me – keep the instructions and preferably read them to… I didn’t! LOL) so cannot comment, but if this is 2-in-1 only, then 3-in-1 must also land airplanes, assume world domination and be AI powered, not less than that! I seriously cannot even imagine what they could come up with to make THIS model even better!Regarding the noise – well, YES! It is noisy! What did you expect with such a powerful motor though? Want results? put up with the noise!Easy cleaning? Well, ok the blades parts, etc. you have to be careful with, but I am still to come across a similar device that would be like – Hey! Stick the lot in the dishwasher and sleep tight! You do need to clean some parts by hand, jugs however, are dishwasher safe, so…what’s the big deal?Let’s just say that since the Beast arrived, my trusted food processor by another well-established brand is nervously smoking in the corner and letting brand new Kenwood cry on its shoulder in despair, as they simply cannot compare! Ninja all the way!

(Firstly, I must start by saying I wasn’t sent the food processor element of this blender so I’m unable to review it, but I can do the rest…)I’m really impressed by this item – we’ve been looking for ways to get ourselves eating more fruit and veg, which sounds daft considering we’re all responsible adults, but hey. Can’t be perfect. This blender comes with a large jug and one portable travel beaker, as well as the base unit, the attachments and the manual/recipe book! You start first of all by handwashing, rinsing and air drying all the attachments and containers. You can pop them in the dishwasher as well which is excellent – except they recommend everything goes on the top shelf but the jug and the travel mug thing doesn’t fit. Do exercise caution when putting it on the bottom shelf!Once everything’s clean, you simply stick your fruit in (or whatever you’re blending) and pop the lid on. There’s either a set of presets (Blend, Max Blend and Pulse) which is all done for you, you simply press the button and let it do its work. Or you can choose from Low, Medium, High and Pulse, but you’re in charge with that one. We went with the classic Strawberry and Banana smoothie first of all, using Maximum Blend which aims to break down seeds. It does need two goes to get it completely smooth, admittedly. The machine is really loud! But it’s only for sixty seconds. Phew. Fitting the jug and travel cup takes a few goes, so do practice and consult the manual – it also helpfully doesn’t switch on if you fit the containers incorrectly, which is good.I found the blender does an absolutely tremendous job, I am ever so impressed with it! It’s huge, it won’t go in the cupboard and I think it serves as a good reminder to go and drink some fruit. (I particularly like blending frozen mango, a banana and some orange juice – it is lush) It also won’t fall off the work top because it’s suctioned onto the worktop with sucker cups! It’s very good. I like it!

Fantastic best food processor I have ever bought. So multi functional I love all the range of programs. Money very well spent.
